This past Saturday, while Cape Town skies poured with rain, warmth gathered inside Selective Live. Artist Mthetho Sono hosted a sold-out Sip n Paint, assisted by Nomad Studios — and the turnout spoke volumes.

People arrived ready to paint, connect, and escape the cold. Mthetho guided guests through his signature techniques, opening up space for both experienced and first-time painters to explore creativity without pressure. Wine flowed, brushes moved, and strangers became collaborators.

It wasn’t just an art class — it was a community moment. The kind that reminds you why we make, and why we share.
